More Than a Candle

Life gets busy.

There always seems to be another load of laundry, another errand to run, another email to answer, or another thing on tomorrow's to-do list.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy making candles so much.

There's something peaceful about pouring each one by hand and knowing that when someone lights it, they're creating a little moment just for themselves.

Maybe it's while reading a book.

Maybe it's sitting on the porch after dinner.

Maybe it's simply relaxing after a long day at work.

Whatever that moment looks like, I hope my candles become a small part of it.

When I started Jewelz DeZine, LLC, I wanted to create more than a candle that simply smelled wonderful. I wanted every piece to have a purpose, even after the candle had finished burning.

As I continued designing my candles, I found myself wanting the vessel to be just as special as what was inside it. That's when I began handcrafting my own eco resin vessels.

Each vessel is individually poured, sanded, and sealed by hand, making every one unique. No two are exactly alike, and I think that's part of what makes handmade products so special.

One of my favorite things about these vessels is that their story doesn't end when the candle is gone.

Instead of being thrown away, they can become a planter for a favorite succulent, a jewelry dish on your nightstand, a place to hold keys by the front door, or simply a decorative piece that continues to bring a little beauty into your home.

I love knowing that something I created can continue to be useful long after the last flicker of the flame.

As summer slowly begins to give way to fall, I've been spending time creating new vessel designs and blending fragrances inspired by the changing seasons.

Some remind me of crisp mornings and fresh country air.

Others bring back memories of homemade desserts, cozy blankets, colorful leaves, and evenings gathered around a campfire.

Fall has always been one of my favorite times of year because home simply feels a little warmer.

Every new fragrance and every handcrafted vessel is created with the hope that it helps make your home feel peaceful, welcoming, and uniquely yours.
